When FinTech CarCloud returned to Seedrs/Republic EU in 2024 to double-down on their growth, they knew that the key to Overfunding once again was going to be a great video from Mabinogi Productions!

The previous collaboration between CarCloud and Mabinogi Productions absolutely smashed it in 2021 raising nearly £700K from equity investors on Seedrs.  150% of their crowdfunding goal. So it was no surprise when they partnered again in 2024 for the next phase of their start-up journey.

We loved working with Geoff and Paul and apparently the feeling was mutual. Here are their thoughts on the first production.

Car Cloud had a very successful Seedrs campaign that raised 150% of our funding objective and a critical factor in that success was working with Mark Galluzzo and the team at Mabinogi. Mark did a great job helping us be the best we can be. He kept us focused on the prize of making the most compelling, credible presentation to the investment community. If you are looking for a video for a crowdfunding campaign, I could not recommend him more highly.

One of the new things we tried with this campaign as well was to strategically release follow up videos during the campaign on both LinkedIn and the Republic / Seedrs message board to help close any high-value investors who were undecided or needed a deeper dive into the case for investment.

And who better to make that pitch than someone with Skin in the Game – that someone being current Chairman Terry Coates.  

This video proved extremely effective in convincing several high ticket investors who were on the fence. Landing additional £60K in overfunding investments.
